Kurun Warun whose name means 'Hissing Swan' lives in the Noosa hinterland in South East Queensland. He is very well known for his exceptionally unique art and his
huge talent as a didgeridoo musician. He expresses his culture through art and music and has won international acclaim and recognition in both these fields. Starting at just eight years of age, he has become a highly respected and researched artist; his works are pieces of very collectable indigenous art. His paintings have a traditional meaning which is not always immediately discernible, but within the colours, lines and space we are led through an underlying story of sacred land and deep culture.
